The following recycling fees will be charged:

■ Recycling Procedures
The recycling process is as follows:

■■Mining-based Used Home Personal Computer Recycling Collection Service Terms■■

We provide a service (hereinafter referred to as "this service") in which we collect used personal computers from customers' homes for recycling, in accordance with the following terms and conditions.
If you agree to the following terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms"), please apply following the prescribed procedure and hand over your used home personal computer to us.

Article 1 (Purpose) These terms and conditions have been established in accordance with the Act on Promotion of Effective Utilization of Resources (hereinafter referred to as the "Resource Effective Utilization Promotion Act") for the purpose of ensuring the effective utilization of resources regarding personal computers disposed of by individual customers from their homes.

Article 2 (Definitions)
1. In these terms and conditions, "discarded computers" refers to the system unit main body of personal computers manufactured and sold by our company, display devices, and accessories included with the sale of these (so-called hardware such as mice and keyboards packed in the main body when shipped by our company), which have been used at home by individual customers and discarded from the home.
2. "Collection" in these Terms and Conditions means that our company will take over the discarded computer from the customer.

Article 3 (Subject to recall)
1. All discarded PCs are subject to collection. If the display unit was used at home and discarded from the home, it will also be subject to collection as a discarded PC. As stipulated in Article 2, paragraph 1, discarded PCs collected by our company are those manufactured and sold by our company, and products from other companies are not subject to collection. 2. The items specified in the following items are not subject to collection. If any of these items are found in the discarded PC that we collect and accept, we will dispose of them in a manner specified by our company, and we cannot guarantee that they will be returned to you.
① Storage media such as floppy disks, CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs, etc.
② Peripheral devices not included in the sale
3) Items that are exempt from collection by law, such as word processors, personal digital assistants (PDAs), printers, and other peripheral devices.
④ Instructions, guidebooks, catalogs, postcards, and other attachments

Article 4 (How to apply for collection of discarded PCs)
1. When using this service, please fill in the necessary information on the recycling application form on our web support information page and apply. You must apply in advance, and if you send your discarded computer to us without applying in advance, we will return the discarded computer to you at your own expense.
2. The application in the preceding paragraph shall be deemed to have been made when the customer's intention to apply is received by our company. If you have not received any contact from us despite having made an application, please contact our recycling center.

Article 5 (Fees)
1. If the discarded computer has a PC recycle mark, it will be collected free of charge.
2. If the PC to be disposed of does not have a PC recycle mark, you will be required to pay the collection and recycling fee (hereinafter simply referred to as the "fee") specified by our company before the disposal. This fee includes the cost of disposal based on this agreement as well as the cost of recycling the disposed PC.
3. The payment method for the fee in the preceding paragraph shall be [payment in advance by bank transfer] only. Transfer fees shall be borne by the customer, and if the completion of payment of the fee cannot be confirmed, collection will not be possible. If payment of the fee cannot be confirmed within 30 days from the day following the date of application without a reasonable reason, the application will be deemed to have been discarded. 4. If, due to your intention or negligence, you incur costs that are greater than the fees notified to you at the time of your application, we will charge you the excess costs, notwithstanding the provisions of Paragraphs 1 and 2 of this Article.

Article 6 (Delivery)
1. After receiving your application (or after confirming payment if payment is required), we will issue a shipping slip for the discarded computer and send it to you.
2. After receiving the shipping slip, please attach the shipping slip to the packaged PC to be disposed of and send it via a carrier designated by our company. Please note that we will not be able to accept the disposed PC if any of the following items apply:
① If the item is sent using a shipping slip other than the one issued by our company.
② If the item is sent using a carrier other than the one designated by our company.
③ If the item is sent or brought to a location other than that specified by our company.

Article 7 (Handling of discarded computers and personal information/data after collection)
1. By shipping the rejected computer, the customer waives all rights to the rejected computer and the data recorded on the computer's hard disk, memory, etc. The Company shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or deterioration after shipping. 2. After receiving the rejected computer, the Company shall not be able to return the rejected computer or restore or return programs, data, etc. recorded on the hard disk, memory, etc. Furthermore, the Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the customer or a third party as a result of this.
3. Any personal information such as your name and address that we learn or become aware of in connection with the collection of discarded computers will be used only to the extent necessary to recycle discarded computers and to update your registered user information, and will not be used for any other purpose by our company.
4. You are responsible for erasing all programs, data, etc. from the computer you are disposing of before shipping it to us. If you send the computer to us without erasing the programs, data, etc. from the computer you are disposing of, we will not be liable for any damage or leakage of such data.

Article 8 (Recycling and Reuse) We will recycle and reuse the collected discarded PCs in accordance with the Law for Promotion of Effective Utilization of Resources and other laws. The means and methods of recycling and reuse will be determined at our discretion.

Article 9 (Outsourcing) We may outsource all or part of this service to a third party.

Article 10 (When You Cannot Use This Service) We may refuse to allow you to use this service in the following cases.
① If the personal computer for which the application was made was not a product manufactured or sold by our company.
② If the item is not subject to recall pursuant to Article 3, Paragraph 2 of these Terms and Conditions.
3) If the computer being returned has been modified or parts or units have been removed without a valid reason, and the Company determines that it is no longer identical to the system equipment, etc. manufactured and sold by the Company (Note that, when collecting the computer, we may ask you to remove any media, parts, units, attachments, or modifications that you may have added or changed to the computer).
④ If it turns out that the personal computer applied for was not used by an individual for home use.
⑤ If we have reason to doubt whether you are the legitimate owner or disposer of the discarded computer.
⑥ When it is clear that the customer who has applied cannot pay the fee.
⑦ Other reasons similar to those listed in the preceding paragraphs

Article 11 (Termination)
1. You may cancel this Service with our consent only before our company begins recycling the discarded PC.
2. Our company may cancel this service if any of the following circumstances apply, regardless of whether or not we have received the discarded computer.
(1) When the discarded computer falls under any of Article 10, items ① to ⑤
(2) When the customer fails to pay the fee or the amount paid is less than the invoiced amount.
(3) Any other reason similar to those set forth in the preceding paragraphs.
3. If the Company incurs damage as a result of the termination of the Service under this Article, the Company may claim compensation for such damage from the customer.

Article 12 (Processing after Termination)
1. If a customer requests cancellation pursuant to Paragraph 1 of the preceding Article, the customer may be required to pay all costs incurred up to the time of cancellation.
2. If the Service is terminated based on the provisions of Article 1 or 2 of the preceding article, the Company will refund the money and return the discarded PC. The customer will be responsible for any expenses incurred up to the return (shipping, bank transfer fees, etc.).
3. Even if the customer or a third party suffers damage as a result of the termination of this service, the Company shall not be liable to the customer or a third party.

Article 13 (Scope of responsibility)
1. If our company violates these Terms and Conditions and causes damage to the customer, we will compensate for such damage up to the amount of the fees already paid as specified in Article 5.
2. Your rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions may not be transferred to a third party.

Article 14 (Matters not stipulated in these Terms, etc.) If any matter not stipulated in these Terms or any doubts arise regarding the interpretation of these Terms, you and our company will enter into good faith discussions.

Article 15 (Court of Agreed Jurisdiction) If a dispute relating to these Terms and Conditions cannot be resolved through the discussions set forth in the previous article, the Tokyo Summary Court or the Tokyo District Court shall be the court of first instance with exclusive jurisdiction.

Article 16 (Applicable Laws and Regulations) These Terms and Conditions are valid only in Japan, and any matters not specified in these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the Civil Code and other relevant laws and regulations.
